2024 Service Line Inventory

2024 Lead & Copper Service Line Inventory

The spreadsheet below documents the service line inventory completed by Harvest-Monrovia Water, Sewer, and Fire Protection Authority in compliance with the service line inventory requirement of the EPA Lead and Copper Rule (LCRR).  The EPA Lead and Copper Rule regulations seeks to identify and eliminate sources of lead in older drinking water service lines.  The Alabama Department of Environmental Management (ADEM) is the primacy agency for implementation of the Lead and Copper Rule in Alabama and Harvest-Monrovia Water completed the inventory according to their requirements and those of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).  Please see the bullet points below for general information gained from the Authority’s service line inventory:

  • 84% of service lines in the Authority’s service area were installed after Alabama’s Lead Ban which became effective January 4, 1989 (Chapter 335-7-8).
  • The remaining 16% of services installed prior to the Alabama Lead Ban were visually inspected by trained Harvest-Monrovia personnel on the public and private side of the meter.
  • Of the services examined, no lead service lines or pigtails were found.
  • The spreadsheet below can be searched by Ctrl+F on a desktop computer. If you need any assistance searching for an address please contact our front office during normal business hours.

If you would like to know more about the LCRR and Service Line Inventory regulations please follow the links below to read information from EPA and ADEM.  Thank you for your patience this summer while our personnel completed the service line inventory.
